If you don’t know what Humans of New York is, it’s ok. I didn’t know either until last week. I’m pretty current when it comes to art, especially photography, so I was floored when I stumbled upon this and hadn’t found it sooner. His name is Brandon and you can read all about this project here. He set out to photograph 10,000 New Yorkers and the project ended up morphed in to him, not just taking their portraits, but asking them questions and finding out their story.
This is so amazing! This combined with The 100 Strangers Project by Ata Adnan is serving as my inspiration for my own 100 Strangers Project. I will be starting it this summer and it’s the basis for my trip that I’m currently using trevolta.com to help with the crowdfunding.
